Study & work experience

• 2013-2017. Bachelor’s degree in TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages)

• 2017-2018 London Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine, London, U.K. Design Chinese course and teach Chinese lessons in a primary school to students from reception to year 6 (about 270 students in total). In charge of the “Chinese culture club” held once each week.

• 2018-2019 Confucius Institute of Pisa, Pisa, Italy. Worked as a Chinese teacher in two high schools located in Pisa and Florence. Teach 4 classes with 3 different levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced intermediate levels.

• 2019-2020 Work in a Mandarin training school. Taught 50+ students of all ages through Zoom. Design and taught online Chinese Summer Camp program.

• 2020-2021 MA in TESOL. The University of Manchester. Started content teaching Chinese on social media. I reflected on my teaching and researched Chinese language learning and teaching. Graduated with Distinction.

• 2021-now. Keep creating content on social media with 126k followers on Instagram and 71k followers on Tiktok. Reaching out to more students, 1500+ teaching hours through Zoom.
